A child’s safety and well-being is the single most important aspect of the work we do at Lund. Children who live in foster homes or with relatives other than their parents, or children who live with one parent who is estranged from the other sometimes need supervised visitation. The goal with supervised visits is to assure children can have safe, conflict-free access to parents with whom they do not reside. Our facilitator works with parents or guardians to plan a visit and supports positive parenting during visits. Coordinating with DCF social workers, Lund provides planning, parenting education and overall support.
